In India, LEIs are mandated by regulators such as RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, and PFRDA for various financial and reporting purposes. The following outlines the standard step-by-step process to obtain an LEI through TNV-LEI (subject to GLEIF accreditation): 📌 Note: TNV-LEI is a Candidate LOU (ID: 9269) under the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) and is not yet accepting applications. This page is intended to educate users on the process once accreditation is achieved.
